Rosa Parks
Born February4, 1913 in Montgomery Alabama. Rosa Parks is famous for her refusal to give up her bus seat to a white passenger. She was aressted and put on trial for this and it resulted in the Montgomery bus boycott of 1955. This was the most significant civil rights movement of that time, Martin Luther King JR. played a lead role in organizing the boycott.
